Project Description
Strawberries are very sensitive to sodium, which is why the drain water is already discharged at a sodium concentration of 1.2 mmol / l. As a result, a lot of water and valuable nutrients are wasted. That is why we test the sodium removal in a 3 hectare strawberry horticultural greenhouse. The goal is to lower the sodium in both the incoming well water and the recirculating drain water, reducing unnecessary emissions of water and nutrients.
